Nearly 3.5 tonnes and over 158 linear metres of Cor-Ten coping and sheet cladding supplied and installed on this project in Surrey. Also known as weathering steel, this material is designed to rust over a relatively short period of time and once a rust patina has fully developed, just 1 mm of its thickness is expected to corrode over a 50 year period in moderate urban environments making this an increasingly popular material choice for today’s building designers.
